Bobbing-Head Heroes now at Arby's!

Here are some paper bobble heads I designed at C3 for Arby's kid's meal. They will be arriving at stores this week some time for a limited time. So stop in to Arby's and get some curly fries with a side of Justice! Collect all 6.

Great work! I wish there were still Arbys around here in Brazil so I could get them.

Awesome! ... but no Batman? The League is in trouble!

Matt Hawkins said...

Yeah we couldn't do Batman due to licensing restrictions. I know, I was a little bummed out about no Batman too.

Great job on the gig! These look like a lot of fun to build.

And thank you for pushing the popularity of Paperkraft here in the states!

Will you be able to post templates for these? Maybe after they are no Longer available at the stores?

And could you just design a Batman and post it, gratis?

I think it's AMAZING the way papercraft is worming its way further into the mainstream.

These look awesome. FANTASTIC idea to have them on their capes / smoke, etc. Brilliant!

It's so great that papercraft is getting more popular in the mainstream!
I'm not an Arby's eater, but I may go just for these. : )

I too would love a Batman! I understand about licensing though. Maybe a hobby one would work?
Do let us know if the templates are available for DL in the future.

It must be great for you to see your work published and distributed and have so many fans and kids get to appreciate it!

These are by far some of the coolest paper models of the Justice League I have ever seen. I am definately going to Arby's and getting these.

If you do make these available for dl in the future, please include a Batman to have the complete League.

went to an Arbys, asked for paper toys, they looked at me like I was high.

will try again this week, but tracking down the actual toys might be tough. i only have so much time in a day.

Again I beg, please PLEASE make these available online after the Arby's Promotion has ended...

these are so cool i sit around and daydream a little about getting to make them.

Thanks everybody! It was really exciting to get to work on these!
Hey Eli Keel,
They've hit some stores and some stores have yet to get theirs. They should be in all stores soon.
Sorry I will not be able to release these for free download. They were done for a client, Arby's with a license on the characters from Warner Bros. So I don't own any part of them and can't distribute them.
Cheers!
Matt

Yeah I've been to a couple of places and they didn't have them yet. It really breaks your spirit cause they are so awesome and I really want them. XD

The stores here in Kansas City finally have them. It seems to be rolling out to different places at different times. Hope you get your hands on them soon.

Hey matt,

I know I'm wayyy behind the times on this particular post, but I actually remember my kids getting a Flash and Superman last year. Had I known they were designed by you, I might have protected them a little from the destructive hands of a 5 and 2-year old. Great toys!

Are you also the creator of the 2nd series of Bobbing-Head Heroes? They're currently being sold with Arby's kid's meals, and I actually prefer this selection of characters (Batman, Joker, Superman, Supergirl, Lex Luthor, and Solomon Grundy).

I do wish I hadn't missed out on the first set though, especially The Flash and Martian. If anyone's actually reading this, and you wanna see pics of the new set - just check out Arby's web site under the kid's meal...

Hey guys, this is the ELI from earlier. I don't have those PDFs anymore. sorry.
